Pay Anyone – Anytime – Anywhere
Digital wallets allow you to securely save your Western Division VISA® Debit Card and Credit Card information and pay right from your Apple, Samsung or Android device. With digital wallets, you’ll be able to make in-store, in-app or online purchases using your smartphone with a touch of your finger.
Given the threat of COVID-19, many people do not like to handle money, keypads in the checkout lines and are doing more shopping online. Now it’s as easy as waving your phone above the card reader or clicking a button.
Enrollment is easy and free! Simply follow the steps below for your device.
Apple Pay™
Apple Pay is easy and works with the Apple devices you use every day. You can make secure purchases in stores, in apps and on the web. And you can send and receive money from friends and family directly within iMessages.
Follow these steps to setup:
- Open the Wallet app and tap the (+) to add your Card.
- Use your digital device’s camera to take a picture of your Card, or enter your Card information yourself.
- Verify the name on the Card and enter the expiration date and 3-digit CVV security code from the back of your Card.
- To finish, you may be asked to verify your Card via text, e-mail or phone call. This is a normal part of the Apple Pay process and does not indicate a problem with your account or Card.
Samsung Pay™
The latest Samsung devices work at most of your favorite places, making Samsung Pay a fast and easy way to checkout anywhere you go and is available virtually wherever you can swipe or tap your Card.
Follow these steps to setup:
- Open the Samsung Pay app. When prompted, tap “Add” at the bottom of the screen to access options to add your card.
- Create a 4-digit Samsung Pay PIN for payment authentication and app protection.
- Use your digital device’s camera to take a picture of your Card, or enter your Card information yourself.
- Verify your card’s 3-digit CVV security code which can be found on the back of your Card and your billing zip code.
- To finish, you may be asked to verify your card via text, e-mail or phone call. This is a normal part of the Samsung Pay process and does not indicate a problem with your account or Card.
Google Pay™
Google Pay is the fast, simple way to pay on sites, in apps, and in stores using the cards saved to your Google Account. It makes it easy to send money, store tickets, or cash in on rewards – all from one convenient place.
Follow these steps to setup:
- Open the Google Pay App on your device and tap the (+) sign.
- Use your digital device’s camera to take a picture of your Card, or enter your Card information yourself.
- Provide all additional information to verify and activate your Card.
- To finish, you may be asked to verify your Card via text, e-mail or phone call. This is a normal part of the Google Pay process and does not indicate a problem with your account or Card.
VISA® Secure Remote Access – Digital Wallet for Web-Based Options
Don’t have your mobile device or smart watch handy? No worries! You can also take advantage of using the VISA Secure Remote Commerce while shopping online. When you use this service to store your VISA Debit and/or Credit Card and avoid the hassle of entering your payment and shipping information each time you make an online purchase from any device. Plus, your information is stored in a single, secure website versus storing your card details on multiple websites you frequent.
Is it Safe?
In today’s environment, contactless payments are secure and quick, making it ideal in today’s environment so you no longer have to touch a payment device at a grocery store or gas station and it makes shopping online easier than ever, your card will be displayed when it is time to pay.
Digital wallet uses the same security features as a chip card and generates a one-time code to protect your payment information. Your card information is not stored or shared with merchants and when shopping at a store your device needs to be close to the payment terminal, so no accidental payments can be made.
Card Controls and Alerts
Download out Mobile App you have Card Controls which enables you to turn your card(s) on and off anytime you want. You can also set Card Alerts, so whenever a card transaction is made you receive an automatic alert.
